| Course Description: |
Arklow Golf Club provides a warm and casual golfing atmosphere within minutes of Arklow Town. Originally formed by Hawtree & Taylor in 1927 and the natural beauty and evolution of the links terrain has been further moulded by E. Hackett and in the last decade by E.B. Connaughton. The Links has been described as a hidden jewel and the Southern region of the Irish P.G.A. held their 2001 and 2002 championships on this demanding links. The 18 hole par 69 course and offers all levels of golfer the opportunity to test their skills to the fullest. Sand warrens, bunkers and large links greens ensure that visitors get a feel of traditional links play whilst still enjoying the natural beauty of this picturesque course. |
