| Course Description: |
A particularly scenic parkland course located within the demesne of old Macroom Castle & situated along the banks of the river Sullane. Bunkers & mature trees make a variable & testing course with a 73 metre carry over the Sullane to the 12th green. With the Kerry mountains creating a backdrop to the west, one cannot but be impressed by the peaceful beauty that surrounds them. The 18th hole with 'out of bounds' on either side is a testing finish, but a good, accurate drive can set one up with a birdie chance-the only way to finish!! |
